Description
The Department of Urology at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to join a dynamic, growing faculty program at our academic medical center. Candidates should have related experience in all aspects of general urology including kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, Rezum (treatment for BPH) and vasectomy. We offer a faculty appointment commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Interested candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care and teaching and will join a robust team committed to our clinical and academic missions. Clinical research opportunities are also available through a well-staffed clinical trials section within the department.
Opportunities to contribute on a leadership level to direct urological care at our Finger Lakes hospitals are available for the experienced candidate.
The Department of Urology consists of 30 faculty members and 24 advanced practice providers driven to advancing the field of urology. This is a great environment for a physician who is interested in joining a thriving group, and transitioning into an existing practice.

Qualifications
- M.D., D.O. or equivalent
- BC/BE in Urology
- Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Urology Residency and have or be eligible for NY medical licensure
- Qualified for Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor Level
